Vafa Matin D.O, AOBFP

Dr. Matin is a board certified Family Physician. He moved to Scottsdale, Arizona in 1987, transitioned to California where he attended medical school in San Francisco. He returned to Arizona to complete his residency training at John C. Lincoln Health Network and Hospitals.  Dr. Matin has practiced medicine in diversified settings. He has devoted part of his career to providing care for the Native Americans as well as the Spanish-speaking population in a Phoenix urban community setting. His ability to speak Spanish directly with his Spanish-speaking patients provides for a deeper level of comfort amongst his patients and their families.  Dr. Matin is on medical staff of Scottsdale Healthcare Hospital. He is privileged to practice both office-based as well as hospital-based medicine. He is an adjunct faculty of Midwestern University Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine mentoring future physicians.  Dr. Matin is married and has three children. His wife has also been active in the community and taught elementary school in Scottsdale before leaving to raise their three children.

Ciara Bozarth D.O, AOBFP  

Dr. Bozarth is a board certified family physician.  She moved from Illinois to Arizona in 2001 to attend medical school at Midwestern University Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine.  She then completed her residency training at Mayo Clinic Arizona in family medicine.  She received her board certification from the American Board of Family Medicine.  Dr. Bozarth is an Adjunct Faculty at her former medical school, AZCOM, helping to train future physicians.  She enjoys caring for patients of all ages, including routine gynecological care and osteopathic manipulative medicine.
